Rob Stewart
Senior Pastor
Rob has ministered at Countryside since 2002 as an associate pastor, and in 2018, he was installed as our 14th senior pastor. He is a graduate of Hillsdale College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife Lindy have three sons.
Jeremy Mason
Associate Pastor
After occasional preaching, teaching, and other ministry involvement over the past several years, Jeremy joined the pastoral team in the spring of 2023. He is a graduate of Moody Theological Seminary. He and his wife Molly have been married since 2000, and they have two sons and a daughter.
Bob Snyder
Associate Pastor
Bob brings decades of teaching and pastoral experience to Countryside. He is a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has a background in engineering, and currently directs and teaches at Spring Branch Academy. He and his wife, Jinna, have six adult children.
John Lillie
Associate Pastor
After faithfully serving Countryside for nearly forty years as senior pastor, John remains on the pastoral team. He has done post-graduate training in counseling at Western Michigan University and is a seasoned biblical counselor. He and his wife, Anne, have three adult children.

Bob has attended Countryside since 1994. His passion is to teach and lead by example and in the classroom. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible Institute in Holt, Michigan, a ministry of Capitol City Baptist Church, with a degree in Religious Ministries. Bob also serves as Men's Ministry coordinator, teacher, and small group leader. He and his wife, Robin, have 6 adult children.
Wally Metts
Associate Pastor - Falling Waters Bible Church, Spring Arbor Church Plant
Wally has been at Countryside since 1985. He is a professor of communication at Spring Arbor University, a consultant, a teacher, and a journalist. He now serves at Falling Waters Bible Church in Spring Arbor, Michigan, a church plant of Countryside's. He and his wife, Katie, have four adult children.
Matt Cable
Associate Pastor - Falling Waters Bible Church, Spring Arbor Church Plant
Matt was called in 2022 to lead Countryside’s Spring Arbor church plant, Falling Waters Bible Church, alongside Pastor Wally Metts. Matt earned his bachelor’s in psychology and Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Amber have been married since 2008 and have four children.
Nancy Brannagan
Women's Ministry
Nancy’s passion is that women grow in the knowledge of God and His Word. She graduated from Biola University and served as a missionary in Africa with her husband Tim. She writes and leads Bible studies, disciples, mentors and speaks at women's events. Tim continues to minister internationally. They have two children and six grandchildren.
Gabe Healy
Senior High Youth
Gabe came on board as the Senior High Youth Director in November, 2021. In January 2024, Gabe's service at Countryside expanded to include responsibilities as the pastoral assistant and in assisting with church maintenance. Gabe received a BA in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Spring Arbor University, and currently attends Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in their M.Div. program.
Abe Dane
Children's Ministry
Abe has attended Countryside since 2005, and graduated from Hillsdale College in 2009. He is the director of Children's Ministry and serves as deacon, He is married to Rebekah and they have 3 children.
