A workshop exploring free and inexpensive web-based tools begins Wednesday, July 5 at the Jonesville Public Library. Two other sessions are scheduled for July 12 and 19 from 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Tools for project management, collaboration and communication will be demonstrated Wally Metts, a professor of communication at Spring Arbor University, and Chris Blackstone, chief technology officer at the university.
“It’s amazing how many ways the Web allows us to organize and manage our work and relationships. There is so much more available than Facebook,” says Metts.
The workshop is sponsored by Countryside Bible Church as part of their annual 4 Jonesville enrichment classes. Other classes offered this summer are four weeks and include basic canning, pie making, and small engine maintenance and repair as well as the “Moms in the Park” fellowship.
All programs are offered for free. For information or registration contact the church office at 517-849-9338 or sign up here.
