Free summer classes

Countryside offers free classes in Jonesville each summer. Learn how to shoot a gun safely, make a soup, and more. Join moms for a day at the park or play soccer with other adults.

Beginning Knife Making Location: Countryside Bible Church Pavilion, 1651 E. Litchfield Rd., Jonesville Dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27 (Wednesdays); Cost: $10; Ages: 16-adult Time: 6:30-8:00 pm

Basic Rifle and Pistol Safety Location: 4051 Dawn Drive, Hillsdale Session 1: July 6, 13; Session 2: July 20, 27 (Wednesdays); Ages: 8-18 Time: 5:30-7:30 pm

Adult Soccer Location: Jonesville High School Soccer Field Dates: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12 (Fridays) Time: 6:30-8:00 pm

Moms In The Park Location: Wright Street Park, Jonesville Dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27 (Wednesdays) Time: 9:30-11:30 am

Making Homemade Soup Location: Jonesville Elementary School Kitchen, Jonesville Dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3 (Wednesdays) Time: 6:00-7:30 pm

Beginning Canning, Freezing, Dehydrating Location: Countryside Bible Church, 1651 E. Litchfield Rd., Jonesville Dates: July 6, 13, 20, 27 (Wednesdays) Time: 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Civil Rights From Slavery to Transgender Location: Jonesville Fire House Dates: July 13, 20, 27; August 3, 10 (Wednesdays) Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
