Cold day, hot soup
The annual "Souper" Bowl on February 5 is a fun way to meet new people and try great soups.
Each year about 30 soups are available, with samples sizes of all of them if you like. Cooks in the church sign up to bring a favorite recipe, and those who attend vote on their favorite. There is a sign up sheet for cooks in the foyer at church.
The fellowship begins immediately after the 10:45 worship service and is followed by the first spring session of the Discovery Institute.
While poking a little fun at our national Super Bowl obsession, Countryside’s annual Souper-Bowl reminds us that our relationships with each other are truly worthy of celebration.
So join the fun enjoy great soup together on a winter afternoon.
