Daniel C. Parker, 23, was welcomed home by his Savior on Sunday evening, May 16, 2010 following a bicycle accident on Friday.
Daniel provided leadership for our Bible distribution project in Jonesville, taught in our church, coached soccer, maintained our website and served tirelessly and cheerfully in many ways. He was a particular encourager and mentor to many young people in our church, as well as to his sister and six younger brothers. He was a good son, a loyal friend and a true servant.
Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8. The funeral service will also be at the church on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., followed by internment at the Sunset Cemetery in Jonesville and a meal for friends and family in the fellowship hall.
