Discovering God in Sunday School
Sunday School classes are available at Countryside during the 10:45 service for students in the nursery through junior-high.
The children’s curriculum goes through the Bible every three years, spending summer and fall in the Old Testament and winter and spring in the New Testament. Katie Metts, director of childrens ministries, says “As a teacher this curriculum has helped me understand how the stories of Scripture help us understand who God is and what he has done for us.”
Junior high students examine key questions from the Westminster catechism. High school students at Countryside attend elective search classes with the adults.
A junior church program is also provided during the 9:00 service for preschool through second grade.
All classes are taught by experienced and committed teachers and aids.
