Searching the Scripture
Adult search classes at Countryside Bible Church begin September 6.
At 9:00 Wally Metts will be leading a study on The Lives of the Patriarchs based on Genesis 13 to 30. The study examines the remarkable but flawed men and women through whom God framed his agenda for those who would believe and follow him.
Attributes of God at 10:45 a.m. is a discussion of God inspired by Tozer's classic book "The Knowledge of the Holy." Led by Bob Thompson, this study explore and discusses God's revealed attributes such as His Eternity, His Infinitude, His Omniscience, His Omnipotence, His Holiness, His Sovereignty, and His Grace among many others. The aim is to know and love God more accurately, fully, and intimately by understanding better what he is like.
A class on World Religion will also be held at 10:45, led by Jim Evans.
Classes are held at the same time as worship services, so that people can attend one during the period when they are not in the main service.
